Introduction
In September of 2017, Hurricane Irma ripped through the Caribbean, leaving a path of destruction in her wake. One of the hardest hit islands was St. Maarten, where our ASG family is based. For weeks after the hurricane, we were unable to reach our team or assess the damage to our office and warehouse. When we finally were able to get in touch, we learned that everyone was safe but that our office and warehouse had been completely destroyed. We are so grateful for the support of our community during this difficult time. Thanks to their generosity, we were able to rebuild and reopen our business within six months. Now, one year later, we are back and better than ever! We want to take this opportunity to say thank you to our loyal customers and let you know that we are once again open for business.
What is ASG
ASG (A Safe Gathering) is a 12-step recovery program for those struggling with addiction. The program is based on the premise that addiction is a disease that can be treated through a combination of education, support, and guidance. ASG provides its members with resources and tools to help them overcome their addiction and live a sober life.
The program begins with an assessment of each member’s individual needs. From there, ASG works to develop a personalized treatment plan that takes into account the unique circumstances of each member. The program includes weekly meetings, where members share their experiences and offer support to one another. ASG also provides its members with access to resources such as counselors, therapists, and recovery coaches.
ASG is committed to helping its members recover from addiction and lead sober, fulfilling lives. The program has helped countless individuals overcome their addiction and regain control of their lives. If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction, ASG may be able to help.
The power of gratitude
The power of gratitude is often underestimated. But as anyone who has ever experienced it knows, gratitude can be a very powerful force.
In the face of adversity, gratitude can help us find strength and hope. It can remind us of what is good in our lives, and help us to see the blessings we have been given even in the midst of difficult times.
Gratitude can also help us to heal from trauma and pain. In the aftermath of tragedy or loss, feeling grateful for what we still have can help us to start rebuilding our lives.
And finally, gratitude can bring us closer to others. When we express our appreciation for what someone has done for us, we create a bond of connection and mutual support.
So next time you are facing a challenge in your life, or just feeling down, remember the power of gratitude. It might just be the thing that helps you get through it.

The ASG community
The ASG community is one of the most grateful and supportive communities I have ever been a part of. From the moment I announced my intention to recover from my eating disorder, I was met with an outpouring of love and support.
Members of the ASG community regularly check in on me, offering words of encouragement and sharing their own stories of recovery. They have been a constant source of support throughout my journey.
I am truly grateful to be a part of such an amazing community. Together, we are proving that recovery is possible.
