Piers Houle is a graphic designer and illustrator with a unique perspective on design. In this blog post, he shares his thoughts on finding your own path and how you can use it to achieve your dreams.
Growing Up in a Small Town
Growing up in a small town can be an enriching experience, but it can also be limiting. Pierrick Houle found this to be true when he left his home town of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec to pursue a career as an artist.
Houle credits his upbringing in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu with helping him develop a strong work ethic. He says that growing up, everyone in his town was involved in some form of art or entertainment. This led to Houle learning early on that he could succeed if he worked hard and pursued his dreams.
While living in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Houle developed close relationships with other artists and musicians who influenced him greatly. He credits these relationships as being instrumental in helping him develop as an artist. After leaving Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Houle had to find new friends and collaborators who would support him during his artistic journey.
Houle has now lived in several cities around the world, but he has never lost touch with his roots or his love for art. He believes that by moving away from home young, he was able to develop into the artist he is today without sacrificing any of the qualities that make him unique
Pursuing an Education Abroad
Going to college or university abroad can be a great way to explore new cultures and learn in an environment with different academic standards. It can also offer opportunities for unique internship experiences, which can help you land your dream job. But before you decide to go abroad, there are a few things you should know.
Pursuing an education abroad can be expensive, so it’s important to think about what kind of financial assistance you might be eligible for. Depending on the country you choose to study in, there may also be other costs associated with living there such as tuition fees and room and board. In some cases, scholarships or grants are available that could cover a significant portion of the cost of attendance.
Once you have decided which country to study in, it’s important to familiarize yourself with the educational system in place there. Certain countries have more traditional academic systems while others have more liberal ones. Make sure you understand the degree requirements for the program of your choice so that you don’t run into any roadblocks if/when you begin your studies.
Finally, make sure that you are prepared for a challenging semester or year abroad. The culture and lifestyle in different countries can be very different from what you are used to back home, so do your research ahead of time so that you aren’t surprised by anything when classes start up again in September!

There are many different paths to becoming a professional hockey player, and the most important thing is to find out what you are good at and focus on developing those skills. If you love the game and have natural talent, then learning how to become a better player will be easy for you. It is important to find out what your goals are and what makes you happy when playing the sport.
Turning Your Passion Into a Career
If you’re passionate about something, it’s natural to want to do what you love for a living. But is that always possible? For Pierrick Houle, turning his passion into a career was all about seizing the opportunity when it presented itself.
He started painting at a young age and soon realized that he had a talent for it. However, he wasn’t sure whether or not he wanted to pursue a career in art.
Luckily, Pierrick’s passion led him to take an opportunity that would change his life. In 2006, he won a competition sponsored by the Canada Council for the Arts to create a large-scale mural for the Montreal Metro station platform walls. The painting took two years total to complete and earned him international recognition.
Since then, Pierrick has continued to create artwork that is both popular and well-received. His latest project is a series of murals commemorating the 100th anniversary of Quebec City’s Notre Dame Basilica. These murals are currently being installed throughout the city and are already attracting attention from tourists and locals alike.
With so much success under his belt, it’s no wonder that Pierrick has decided to stay put and continue working as an artist full time. He says that he wouldn’t have it any other way because creating art is what truly brings him happiness.
Moving On to the Next Chapter
It can be difficult to move on from a tough experience, but it’s important to do so in order to grow and learn. For Pierrick Houle, the time after his father’s death was a difficult one. “It felt like I was in a fog for quite some time,” he says. “I needed some time to process what had happened and figure out where I wanted to go from there.”
Houle found his path by following his intuition and intuition alone. “I didn’t look too much at other people’s paths or how they did things because I wanted to find my own way,” he says. “The most important thing for me was that the decisions I made felt right.”
Moving on is sometimes hard, but it’s also an opportunity for growth. Take the time to process what happened and figure out where you want to go next – that’ll help you find your own path and reach your goals.
In the world of fashion, it can be difficult to stand out from the crowd. However, with persistence and a bit of luck, you can find success in fashion regardless of where you start.
